ICOFormat - Windows Icon (ICO) file format Photoshop plugin
An easy way to create the FAVICON.ICO file which defines your web site's favourites icon (also used as a browser's favorites, shortcut, bookmark or location bar icon). The plugin reads and writes ICO files in 1, 4 and 8-bit Indexed and 24-bit RGB modes. Also reads and writes 32-bit "XP" icons (with 8-bit alpha channel).
Icoformat is a free download: If you use and like this software, a small PayPal contribution is suggested (see README). This will help support the development of more open source/shareware tools like this one.
Source code is released under the GPL to build for Mac 68K, Mac PowerPC (Classic/OS X), and Windows, using freely downloadable MPW (for Mac) or mingw32 (for Linux or Windows) development tools.
